August through
November 2008

In August, it was
fun on the boat in Bloomington

Charlie and Grandma
had a great time

As did Grandpa and
Grant

Looks like we were the only ones on the lake!

Charlie practicing his shallow water diving techniques

Grant celebrating some big achievement

Grant & Tobi campaigning for peace

Postcardariffic!

Mr. Bossy explaining the rules (remember this pose for next month...)

In Lawrenceville, it was some multigenerational fun

Grandma's corn was looking healthy!

Quite the devilish grins...

Five seconds later, this could end in a strangle-hold or a loving hug!

The boys "swimming" at Pop's house

In September, the neighborhood gang got together to
celebrate the first day of kindergarten

Charlie wanted to go to kindergarten, too

So he celebrated his first day at preschool instead!

Grant started taking regular hockey classes

As usual, Charlie wanted to be part of the action, too

The annual trip to Kiddieland included both boys this year

Sometimes they look so big it surprises us

Kiddieland kept us busy for hours

Mr. Bossy, part deux

And more "coaching" by the self-appointed coach

Bend it like Laczkowski!

More strangling at the pumpkin patch

Not surprisingly, they found the one train at the pumpkin patch

Not sure whether the pumpkins or the boys ended up dirtier
at the end of the day

Halloween was great with two very cool dudes (secured by ADT)

Vanessa joined us for the annual candy-fest

Many worlds collided!

In November, Grant lost his first tooth

Grant's class had a powwow for Thanksgiving

Each child read part of a speech...Grant seemed less
convinced at others' acting abilities

Click this picture to see his performance!

Grant and Shoyah were good partners

Lucy and Grant had fun playing their parts
